Asian Water Information System (AWIS) Consultation Workshop

1. Outline
Objectives(i) Examine the current status of access to water information in the region
(ii) Review on-going initiatives to improve water sector information collection, processing, storage and access
(iii) Develop time-bound targets and strategies to establish a demonstration of the AWIS
(iv) Identify a core-group of institutions and countries to lead development of a pilot demonstration of the AWIS by March 2015
